Aim effects the accuracy of a Soldier in XCOM 2. The higher the number the more likely he/she will be to hit the target. Aim can be modified by Weapons and Armor. Note: Distance also effects the likelihood of a hit.

My best Ranger seems to have a default 95 aim at Colonel. No Scope, PCS (+17) has it at 112. I don't know where the extra 15 is coming from.

You can also use special ammo to imrove your aim, my sniper hits nearly everything at 100% now and deadeye's at 80-90%
